Water Outreach has three elements: assembling and distributing a water purification system, health and hygiene education and evangelism. Teams will transform communities by providing families with a sustainable water purification system, information on how to use the system and the reasons for its use, and a clear culturally appropriate Gospel presentation. This is a great long-term project that has the possibility of changing entire communities by providing them with clean water, good health habits and proper sanitation. Nury De Millan, Lead-a-Child Director of Latin American Projects, is MOST Ministries host for many teams. Lead-a-Child partners with Lutheran pastors and teachers in 25 countries to provide Christian education. Today, over 240 project sites bring life changing opportunities to more than 25,000 children, with Guatemala overseeing 18 projects. Many of these children would not otherwise receive an education. By partnering with Nury, this team will build up the churches reputation in the community all while sharing the Gospel to everyone who comes to the clinic.
