Water Outreach has three elements: assembling and distributing a water purification system, health and hygiene education, and evangelism. Teams of 8-20 people will transform communities by providing families with a sustainable water purification system, information on how to use the system and the reasons for its use, and a clear culturally appropriate Gospel presentation. This is a great long-term project that has the possibility of changing entire communities by providing them with clean water, good health habits and proper sanitation. Team Leader will be asigned to prepare, train and lead the team on mission. Robert Gutwa is a social worker in Kenya who worked with Gayle Sommerfeld and her daughter, Sandi, to start Dignity4Girls. Dignity4Girls meets the needs of schoolgirls. Many girls face obstacles to education, food, and opportunity. Providing menstrual hygiene kits empowers and protects at-risk girls from the dangers of dropping out of school which often leads to early marriage and pregnancy.
